The core philosophy of SAMSUNG Electronics is to attract and retain highly talented personnel. SAMSUNG Electronics places main emphasis on the creativity, communications skills, and global awareness of our employees.

To attract new employees, SAMSUNG Electronics holds SAMSUNG Job Fair 2005. It is conducted in Moscow, St. Petersburg (Russia), and some other city (depending on the number of incoming resumes) in the middle of April, 2005.

The purpose of the job fair is to help the researchers to build their career with SAMSUNG Electronics.

The SAMSUNG Job Fair 2005 will be attended by nearly 30 delegations from different divisions of SAMSUNG Electronics. These are as follows: the SAMSUNG Research Center in Russia (Moscow SRC), Digital Media (DM), Telecommunications Network (TN), Device Solution (DS), Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), Digital Appliance (DA), Corporate Technology Operations (ÑÒÎ), Mechatronics Center (Mecha), and BlueTech, just to name a few of them.

The SAMSUNG Job Fair 2005 is oriented toward Ph.D. people, Ph.D. students, experienced people, and graduates majoring in computer science, cybernetics, applied mathematics, telecommunications, microelectronics, radio engineering, radio physics, semiconductor physics, quantum electronics, and optics.

Special interest is shown in the graduates of world-famous Russian, CIS, and European universities. Among them are the M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), N. E. Bauman Moscow State University of Technology (BMSTU), Moscow Institutes of Physics and Technology (MIPT), Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI), Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPhl), Saint-Petersburg State University (SPSU), Saint-Petersburg State Polytechnic University (SPSPU), Saint-Petersburg Electro-Technical Institute (LETI), Saint-Petersburg Institute of Fine Mechanics and Optics (LITMO), Kiev Polytechnic Institute (KPI), Belarus State University, as well as the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Helsinki University of Technology (HUT), Warsaw University of Technology, and some others. Working experience with well-known IT companies such as the NOKIA, MOTOROLA, ERICSSON, INTEL, SUN MICROSYSTEMS, SIEMENS, and some others is also of great importance. Russian engineers currently working outside the Russian Federation (in Germany, Sweden, Finland, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, etc.) are also invited to participate in the job fair.

The SAMSUNG Job Fair 2005 will thus enable the specialists to meet and communicate with SAMSUNG researchers, engineers, managers, and experts. This will make it possible to get a closer look at SAMSUNG Electronics from the inside and to make the right choice for the future career development.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS AND APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Degree: 1) Doctor of Sciences / Doctor of Philosophy in Technical or Physico-Mathematical Sciences, 2) Master of Sciences, or 3) Bachelor of Sciences (for individuals with the B.Sc. Degree should have job experience of more than 2 years.

Majors: Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Cybernetics, Electronics Engineering, Radio Engineering, Radio Physics, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, Semiconductor Physics, Microelectronics, Physics, Optics, Optics Engineering, Laser Physics, System-on-Chip Design, Circuit Design, Systems Engineering, System Design, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Automation Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry
